Candid, Indeed!
Some funny off-the-cuff pics that are a bit hard to find. I have no idea where/how I found some of these so I may not credit with exactness.
"Cherrio!" (That's Wally's word when he talks to you via email, I'm just borrowing it...I am not cool enough to use it myself.)

No idea where this comes from or who the custardy blokes are standing next to him. On this day, he was apparently just a lad munching a vegi-mite sandwich or something...circa 2008-ish I think??
In the act, as it were...and in need of the usual blow-dryer for the underarm region.

That middle picture is from 2008, from a ten-year reunion/when Wally returned to visit his secondary school. The two gentlemen in the picture are faculty and/or staff members. The sandwich remnants in Wally's hand amuse me.

I knew the details of the photo because I've come across it before. I've actually written an embarrassingly-long entry on Wally/Gotye and his music for my own blog. It is one I actually began several years ago (about the creative process behind art and artists), then deleted because I found it overly-personal at times, and then decided to revamp last year because I needed more inspiration for my own writing. So, I decided to carve out a space to celebrate others’ achievements that could help catalyze my own creativity—and perhaps others’, too. Being inspired by Gotye had a lot to do with the new version of the blog. I’ve only begun posting a few entries thus far, as work is keeping me busy, but hope I can be more active in this sort of side-writing by the end of the year.

wow...just finished reading it. Utter loveliness, or as Wally would say "brillo." I left a more detailed comment on the post itself. No mis-information that I can catch, most of it brought a smile and nod of recognition. Nice research! You now have a follower!
